Introduction
We built this Eco mode halogen space heater to be a compact powerhouse. It’s the kind of heater you can count on when you need serious heat in a tight spot—and you need it fast. It runs on 400V and uses a shortwave halogen element inside a quartz tube. That means it goes from cold to target temperature almost instantly. No waiting around. Just quick, focused infrared heat when your equipment needs it most.
Technical Deep-Dive
Here’s the thing: it’s rated at 2500W on 400V. That keeps the current lower than a 230V equivalent would. Less strain on your conductors, and you can use smaller wiring in the control panel. At just 300mm long, it packs a lot of wattage into a small footprint. Perfect for those cramped zones where space is at a premium. And the Eco mode? It’s not just a buzzword. It’s a smart duty-cycle control that holds the filament at a steady temperature. So when your process doesn’t need full power, you’re not wasting energy on standby. You get fast warm-up and steady heat without the constant on-off cycling.
Material & Design
The quartz tube is filled with halogen gas. That helps protect the filament and keeps the heat output stable over time. No dips in performance as the heater ages. The backside has a reflective coating, which pushes more energy forward toward your target. Less heat gets wasted to the sides. And the R7s connector? It’s the standard bi-pin type. That makes this unit a simple drop-in replacement. It wires up clean, sits solid, and stays aligned even in tight mounts.
Application & Benefits
This heater shines when you need concentrated heat in a small space. Think plastic welding, adhesive curing, or packaging sealing. It delivers a lot of heat in a compact package, so you do need to make sure your machine’s cooling and clearances are properly set up. But once you do, you get strong performance, an easy install, and temperature control you can rely on, day after day.
