Material & Design
We chose quartz for the outer tube because it’s tough. It can handle the extreme heat and won’t crack when you’re cycling through rapid temperature changes. Inside, the halogen gas does important work. It keeps the filament stable and extends the heater’s life by managing the redeposition of evaporated material. And the R7s connector? It’s a simple, straight-in, two-pin setup. Wiring is a breeze. It just clicks into industrial sockets with a solid connection—no messing around with fiddly terminal blocks.
